Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect a copied and forged voting ticket among the refund voting tickets given from the same person by storing temporarily the information on the voting ticket to be refunded when reading it and comparing the information when the information on the next voting ticket is read. CONSTITUTION:The refund voting tickets are supplied successively to a reading part 2 by an operator. The result obtained at a checking part 4 is displayed to a display device 9, and an operator performs the refund processing based on the display of the device 9. When the second sheet of the refund tickets is supplied by an operator, the ticket is stored in a buffer register 3 in the same operation as that mentioned above. At the same time, the first sheet of data is stored to a stacker ST1 of a stack part 5. Then the part 4 checks the second sheet of data, and at the same time a comparing part 6 performs a comparison between the contents of the ST1 and those of the register 3. When the coincidence is obtained, a lamp 7 glows for detection of a copied and forged ticket.
