Abstract:
To discriminate lithological quality properly by automatically detecting the number of the striking times of a rock drill at a real time.
This detector for the number of the striking times of a rock drill is composed of a striking-pressure detector 5 detecting the oil pressure of a hydraulic pipeline 3 for striking supplying the striking mechanism of the rock drill 1 with pressure oil from a hydraulic power source 2, a signal processor 6 outputting a pulse signal corresponding to the pulsation of the oil pressure of the hydraulic pipeline 3 for striking on the basis of an output signal from the striking-pressure detector 5, and a counter 7 counting the pulse signal output from the signal processor 6.
