Title:
DETECTOR FOR REMAINING WARP LENGTH IN LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3157334
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a remaining warp length detector designed to improve the production efficiency for the entire weaving process by preventing both wasteful warp discard and weaving operations having been occurred inevitably due to the involvement of the human factors in detective operations for the final cut marks during exchanging loom warp beams.
CONSTITUTION: The remaining length of warps wound on a warp beam is detected by a remaining warp length detecting mechanism 3, a warp shrinkage rate at the completion of weaving warps is set by a relevant setter 5, a weaving length per unit cloth delivery is set by a relevant setter 4, a mechanism 6 for calculating the warp length corresponding to the cloth delivery is connected to the respective output sides of the setters 4 and 5, such warp length necessary for weaving by the above-mentioned warp length is calculated based on the respective output signals S4 and S5 from the setters 4 and 5, a comparing mechanism 7 is connected to the respective output sides of the mechanisms 3 and 6, and remaining warp length is compared with the warp length corresponding to the cloth delivery based on the respective output signals S3 and S6 from the mechanisms 3 and 6, and when the remaining warp length becomes shorter than the warp length corresponding to the cloth delivery at the timing of the cloth delivery, an alarm is given.
