Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a temperature detecting circuit able to integrate within a small area and with small current consumption.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature is detected on the basis of the following signal and output: a basic frequency signal generated by a signal generating circuit 1, and the output from a NAND gate 8 for comparing the basic frequency signal with the output signal from the delay circuit 4 which changes the delay time of the basic frequency signal according to the temperature to delay the signal. The temperature compensation of the circuit 1 is carried out by changing the capacitance of a variable capacitance diode 23.
