Title:
DETERGENT COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000328098
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a detergent composition which has both persistent effects and instantly arising effects and sufficiently exhibits the effects of an active component in a core substance by combining sustained release microcapsules with pressure-sensitive microcapsules.

The shell membrane of the sustained release microcapsule is made preferably of e.g. a urethane resin; and that of the pressure-sensitive microcapsule, preferably of a crosslinked acrylic resin or a formalin polycondensation resin. The particle size of the microcapsule is preferably 0.5-500 μm. The core substance of the microcapsule is e.g. an antibacterial, antifungal or insectproof agent, a detergent or a perfume, The wt. ratio of (A) sustained release microcapsules to (B) pressure-sensitive microcapsules in the detergent composition is preferably about (2:8) to about (8:2), and the sum of amounts of microcapsules A and B is preferably 0.05-1 wt.% of the composition. The composition exhibits both persistent effects and instantly arising effects under pressure (e.g. in the case when a carpet being cleaned is trampled down by feet).
