Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a detergent composition containing a water-insoluble silicone as a base component by using one of a polyoxyalkylenated ether carboxylic acid compound and its salt as a dispersant and a cleaning agent.
CONSTITUTION: This detergent composition containing an insoluble silicone as a base component contains (a) the silicone insoluble in an aqueous medium and not reacting with the medium and (b) a compound corresponding to the below-described formula in an amount of at least 7 wt.%, wherein the ratio of the compound of the formula to the silicone is >1. R-(OC3H6)p-(OC2H4)n-OCH2- COOA [R is an alkyl or alkenyl, an alkylphenyl, R'CONH-CH2-CH2- (R' is an alkyl or alkenyl group) or their mixture; (n) is 2-24; (p) is 0-6; A is a hydrogen, Na, K, Li, 1/2 Mg, monoethanolamine, ammonium or triethanolamine].
