PURPOSE: To improve the stability of sodium perborate monohydrate by making a detergent composition contain a detergent-active compound, certain detergency builder and sodium perborate monohydrate.

CONSTITUTION: The detergent composition, of a bulk density of at least 700 g/l is obtained by spray drying a slurry comprising (A) from 5 to 60% by weight of a detergent-active compound selected from among a soap, non-soap anion, cation, nonionic and bipolar surfactant, (B) from 10 to 80% weight of a detergency builder containing alkali metal alminosilicate comprising zeolite having Si and A in ratio Si: A of at most 1.33 and d50 of from 0.1 to 0.5 μm (zeolite MAP), (C) bleaching system comprising from 5 to 35% by weight of sodium perborate monohydrate and when necessary form 1 to 8% by weight of bleaching precursor, and (D) ≤100% by weight of other detergent components.
