Abstract:
To provide a determination device which can determine a visibility of a special signal light emitter without installing a special device in the special signal light emitter or hindering an operation during train operations.SOLUTION: A determination device for determining a visibility of a special signal light emitter in a railway, comprises: an image acquisition part which acquires an object image being an image obtained by imaging a region in a traveling direction of a train from a leading vehicle of the train; an angle determination part which determines whether or not an inclination angle showing an angle of a light emitting surface of the special signal light emitter against an image surface of the object image is equal to or larger than a prescribed reference angle when the special signal light emitter is included in the object image acquired by the image acquisition part; and a visibility determination part which determines the visibility of the special signal light emitter on the basis of a determination result determined by the angle determination part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
