Abstract:
To provide a determination system, etc. suited to determine a polarized state of measured objects in contact with or adjacent to substrates, etc. by a surface plasmon resonance system.
The determination system 17 determines a polarized state of mitochondria 9, 11 in living cells 5, 7 on a substrate 3 by using a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon and includes a polarized state determination section 21 to determine three-dimensional distribution/intensity/morphology of the polarized state of mitochondria 9, 11 based on at least two kinds of incident light 13 to the substrate 3.
