PURPOSE: To obtain a final document after accurate sticking without any deviation in size at all times by inputting coefficient contents and making corrections automatically.
CONSTITUTION: A device for plate making operation is equipped with a function for correcting position information on a document according to the contents of operation and/or environmental conditions. Namely, the device is equipped with a function which measures ambient temperature and humidity and predicts the value of variation between sizes before and after processing according to the measurement information. Further, parameters of various kinds of size variation are inputted previously in addition to the ambient temperature and humidity and the actual state of the operation is inputted to correct input position or size information automatically by using necessary parameters and output the information. Consequently, various documents are prevented from having fine deviation in size and there is no size deviation on a finished picture plane, thereby improving the quality of final printed matter.
