Abstract:
To provide a respiratory humidification system for providing humidification to gases that pass through a gas passage before being provided to an airway of a patient.SOLUTION: The respiratory humidification system may comprise: a liquid flow control unit providing a controlled flow of liquid; a heating system including a heating surface configured to be located in a gas passage and provide humidification to gases passing through the passage, the heating system receiving the controlled liquid flow; and one or more hardware processors providing deterministic control of a humidity level of gases passing through the gas passage by instructing the liquid flow control unit to adjust the controlled liquid flow received at the heating system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
