Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide developer used in a color image forming apparatus capable of uniformizing all the wear of photoreceptors for black and for colors other than black without causing the cost rise of the apparatus and the deterioration in maintainability.
SOLUTION: When the length of the outer periphery in the two-dimensional shape of toner is defined as L, the area in the two-dimensional shape of the toner is defined as S and the shape factor SF2 of the toner is defined as SF2=(L2/S)×(100/4π), the central value of the shape factor SF2 in the black toner is set to be ≥10 smaller than the central value of the shape factor SF2 in the color toner other than the black toner.
