Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the developing device which suppresses the generation of unequal development (unequal circulation) and can execute stable processing.
CONSTITUTION: This developing device has a circulation control means which circulates a developer in a direction intersecting with the progressing direction of a photosensitive material in an initial part 2 up to at least 0 to 40% in the case of assuming the entire part of a developing path as 100% and controls the flow velocity in the surface part of the photosensitive material in such a case to a range from 10 to 30cm/sec. The circulation control means consists of, for example, blow-off ports 6, 7 and a suction port 8 for the developer and a flow regulating plate 4, a guide plate 3, etc.
