Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device which is a function separation type, and in which, blades for regulating layer thickness of a developer carrier are provided below the developer carrier, capable of suppressing residence of the developer on a blade facing part and resulting deterioration of the developer.SOLUTION: A position where a regulation member and a developer carrier come to the closest, is provided on a position overlapping with a transport member in a vertical direction. A rotation direction of the transport member is configured to move at a position facing the developer carrier in the same direction each other.
