Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a treating method of a sheet-type silver halide photographic sensitive material by which production of scum (dross) or suspended matter in a washing tank is suppressed even when the replenishing amt. of water is little.
CONSTITUTION: A silver halide black-and-white photo sensitive material is treated in an automatic developing machine including processes of development, fixing and washing with water. In the fixing process, the fixing liquid used contains 0.5-2.5mol/l sodium thiosulfate but ≤0.1mol/l ammonium ion. In the washing process, washing water containing hydrogen peroxide is used.
