Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for adjusting energy absorption system of a steering column for an automobile housed in a support assembly connected and mounted to an automobile structure body with a fixing device having each fixing shaft respectively.
SOLUTION: At least one fixing device is arranged on the holding shaft in a support assembly, and contains at least one energy absorption capsule fastened in the support assembly by the fastening device. The fixing shaft coincides with the holding shaft. The fastening device is independent of the fixing device and contains a nut and a rod shoulder part in order to enable regulation attaining the required fastening of the fastening device so as to obtain required energy absorption. Therefore, the regulation of fastening for one or a plurality of energy absorption capsules is independent of fastening of the device for fixing the support assembly to the automobile structure body.
