Abstract:
To constitute a device for assembling a Bowden cable of a parking brake for a motor vehicle in such a manner that one end of the cable is simply joined with an expanding lock of a shoe brake.
A holding device (1) is provided with a sliding sleeve (5) having a fixed sleeve (4) contacting a wheel supporting body (6). In this holding device, the sliding sleeve (5) is slid in the fixed sleeve (4) in an axial direction to the expanding lock (10) from an assembling position (I) having the cable end provided with a cable slack a and held to a fixed position (II) having the cable end (S) tightened and held in the expanding lock (10).
