PURPOSE: To enable the fixation section of an attachment device to be clamped and fixed with homogeneous force by using a thermally contractible ring made of a synthetic resin as the fixation section.
CONSTITUTION: Static magnets 1, a washer 4, static magnets 2, a washer 5 and purity magnets 3 are successively attached to the cylindrical section 10b of an attachment device 10 by utilizing the elastic flexibility of a support 10d. When the attachment is finished, the support 10d returns to its original position and the convergence device is kept fixed. Next, a thermally contractible ring 11 is attached to the fixation section of the device 10 consisting of tongue pieces 10e through their end projections 10f. After the thus assembled body is attached around the outer circumference of a cylindrical electronic tube, the thermally contractible ring 11 is heated by a heater to contract the ring 11, thereby tightly fixing the tongue pieces 10e to the outer circumference of the electronic tube.
