To provide a device for attaching a hanging beam between existing posts, which can easily and surely bridge a hanging beam laterally between both posts from the front side.
The posts 5 having a structure in which a decorative section 10 at the front end part is wider than the lateral width of the main body section 11 on the rear side, and a plurality of fastening holes 13 are formed in both side surfaces of the main body section, are stood at an interval, and the handing beam 7 bridges both posts by a supporting bracket 8. A length for which a connecting plate 19 is attached to both ends of the beam is set to be the same or slightly smaller than the interval between both decorative sections. A supporting groove 23 having an approximately L shape when seen from a side surface is formed in the connecting plate, and at the side edge of a vertical plate 24 of the supporting bracket, a protruding piece 25 is provided. A pin 26 which engages with the supporting groove is protruded on one side surface, and a receiving piece 27 which is fixed with a screw from below at the lower end of the beam is formed at the lower end. The vertical plate is set in a manner to be flush with or slightly project from the side end of the decorative section under a state in which the protruding piece is fitted into the fastening hole, and the beam is fixed to the receiving piece with the screw.
