Abstract:
The device contains an advancing means (10) for the test material, which is formed by a pair of transport rollers (16). The two transport rollers (16) are connected positively to a motor drive (24). This guarantees a perfect advance under all circumstances and also ensures a careful treatment of the test material, this being advantageous especially when further measurements are carried out on the test material after it has passed through the advancing device.
