Title:
DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY SUPPLYING FIXED QUANTITY OF MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2935681
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic fixed quantity supplying device for molten metal which prevents the wastefulness of the molten metal, reduces the defective ratio of a product and shortens casting time, by feeding the molten metal stored in a molten metal storing part into a fixed quantity supplying part through a molten metal introducing tube and quickly discharging the fixed quantity of molten metal into a mold after confirming the fixed quantity.
SOLUTION: The molten metal is poured into a molten metal pouring hole 24 and the fixed quantity of the molten metal is charged into the molten metal storing part 44. The molten metal is held at the fixed temp. by switching on/off a silicone heater 42. Successively, a switch valve 34 of a nitrogen pouring hole 30 is opened and the nitrogen is flowed into a holding furnace 20. The molten metal, by a pressure of nitrogen, is flowed over a fixed quantity partition wall 92 into the inner part of the fixed quantity partition wall 92 through a molten metal introducing tube 60 as only one discharging hole. At the sensing the fixed quantity through a level sensor 84, the switch valve 34 is shut off and a switch valve 98 is raised so that the molten metal is supplied into a mold device just below through a molten metal discharging tube 120. This movement is successively repeated.
