PURPOSE: To halve driving devices and working processes, miniaturize the device and improve productivity by lapping holes for joining and joining two panels by bending edge with one action of a driving device.
CONSTITUTION: Holes for fitting of panels (a), (b) are set to conform the hole (h) for bending edge of a clamping member (c), and a clevis 29 is advanced. Then, P-shaped parts 32a, 33a of punch members 32, 33 push the small projection of the panel (a) into joining hole of the panel (b) and erect it at 90 degrees. On the other hand, the tip of an operation board 38 comes into contact with the panel (a) and its advance is checked. A braking fitting 43 retreats along a long hole 25a for braking, and the clevis 29 pushes intermediate links 30, 31 forward. Consequently, punch members 32, 33 rotate outward around fixing bolts 35, 36. Accordingly, P-shaped parts 32a, 33a also open outward, and bend the erected small projection further 90 degrees, and complete bending of edge in cooperation with receiving fittings 50, 50.
