Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set the size of a rod to be worked for bending by locating a size setting device at a prescribed fixing position to a bending unit in relation to it.
CONSTITUTION: A size setting device 21 for setting the size is provided so as to cooperate with a work platform and is locatable in a 2nd standby position for escaping from contact with a rod. Then, the work platform 13 is excludable from any interference. The size setting device 21 is in the state that its abutting surface 22 is intersected with the bending axis 23 in its 1st position. Further, the rod is lain along the bending axis 23. After all, the abutting surface 22 is positioned perpendicularly to the bending axis 23 and the work platform 13.
