PURPOSE: To attain various purposes accurately by photographing a material from below and making the image erect through reflecting mirrors at two positions, and installing a camera and a restoring machine at plane poistions close to the photographed material.

CONSTITUTION: There is an opening window 2 at the center part of the top surface of a box 1 as a principal body and a glass plate 3 is fitted thereto. Illumination lamps 4 such as fluorescent lamps are provided on both front and rear sides of the opening window 2 to light the opening window 2 uniformly. A large-sized surface reflecting mirror 5 is mounted at 45° vertically below the opening window 2, a box 8 which has a 45° slanting surface 6 is fitted to the lower part of the front surface of the box 1 facing the mirror, and a small-sized surface reflecting mirror 7 is fitted on the internal surface of the slanting surface 6 opposite the large-sized surface reflecting mirror 5. Then, the lens barrel 11 which incorporates a polarizing filter 9 and a photographic lens 10 is mounted vertically above the small-sized surface reflecting mirror 7.
