PURPOSE: To easily remove protoplasts except those introduced to holes, by preparing metallic plates having holes to which protoplasts can be introduced, and piling a metallic plate which has holes with the same diameter as that of the metallic plates at almost the same positions and thinner thickness.
CONSTITUTION: In introducing the certain protoplasts 7 to holes of one of the metallic plate 1 of the two metallic plates 1 and 2 which are regularly provided with a great number of holes with diameters a little larger than diameters of protoplasts (P for short) and feeding the different P to the holes of the metallic plates 2, the auxiliary plate 3 having similar holes and thickness thinner than radius of the holes is piled on the metallic plates. Firstly the holes of the auxiliary plate 3 are communicated with the holes of the metallic plate 2 and the holes of the metallic plate 1 are not communicated with those of the metallic plate 2. In this state, suspension of the first P is fed and P are introduced to the holes. Then, the auxiliary plate 3 is shifted, the suspension on the auxiliary plate is washed away. Then, both the metallic plates 1 and 2 are communicated, P are transferred to the holes of the metallic plate 1. Then, similarly the second P are introduced to the holes of the metallic plate 2.
