Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute the stable feeding of a strip by making the center line of the strip and the feeding center (pass line PL) of the strip parallel.
CONSTITUTION: In respective points P1, P2 in the feeding direction of the strip 2, a clamp 21 is moved in the direction perpendicular to the feeding direction of the strip 2 toward the pass line PL. Respective distances A1, A2 (A2>A1) from the edge face of the strip 2 to the pass line PL are measured and also the strip 2 is clamped by the clamp 21. Next, the clamp 21 in the position P1 is moved in the state where the strip 2 by the difference (A2-A1) between the respective disstances A1, A2 in the direction perpendicular to the feeding direction of the strip 2 and in the direction opposite to the pass line PL, thereby making the center line of the strip 2 and the pass line are parallel.
