To provide a raw material charging device, formed of a metal, to be provided with a novel mechanism to effect automatic conveyance and automatic charge of a raw material by using an unmanned conveyance vehicle, move between a raw material waiting position and a melt furnace, and convey a raw material and charge it in the melt furnace.
A charge truck 30 is movable forward and backward to and from the material charge port of a melt furnace on a conveyance truck 20 movable between a raw material waiting position and a material charge inlet. A containing bucket 40 for a raw material protruded to and supported at the front of the end part on the advancing side of the charge truck is provided. A support means 35 to hold the attitude of the charge truck 30 is provided between the charge truck 30 and the transport truck 20. The containing bucket 40 is supported oscillatorily around a horizontal shaft in the front of the end part on the advancing side of the charge truck 30, and coupled to an oscillation means 41 installed at a charge truck 30.
