To simpify cleaning of a cylinder overcoat face by making a cleaning cloth endless and making a cleaning device pass after a pressing member.

This cleaning device of a cylinder overcoat face 1 has a cleaning cloth 2 to be guided on a pressing member 3. The pressing member 3 is formed of a film 4 supported by air. The cleaning cloth 2 is pressed to the cylinder overcoat face 1 by the film 4. The cleaning cloth 2 is made to be endless and operated by a drive roller 6 so as to revolve. The cleaning cloth 2 is guided on a tension roller 7 which is supported by a support member 9 through a compression spring 8, so that a constant tension is always ensured. In the inside of the cleaning device, the cleaning cloth 2 is guided on other guide roller 10. After cleaning work of the cylinder overcoat face 1, the cleaning cloth 2 is made to pass through two cleaning containers 11 and 12 by operation of the drive roller 6, so that staining particles do not stick to the cleaning cloth 2.
