Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for collecting underwater resources, capable of effectively drilling and collecting underwater resources and moving at the water bottom, regardless of the state of the water bottom; and a method for controlling the device.SOLUTION: A device 1 for collecting underwater resources is equipped with a buoyancy tank 9. When drilling and collecting underwater resources, the device 1 for collecting underwater resources is in a landing state with the buoyancy tank 9 filled with water, allowing at least a part of the device to come in contact with the water bottom. When moving at the water bottom, the device 1 for collecting underwater resources is in a movable state with the buoyancy tank 9 drained, allowing the weight of the device 1 to be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
