PURPOSE: To provide a compression-bagging device for empty bags which has a short body but can compression-bag numerous empty bags in one cycle wherein a final push-out process of the empty bags is not necessary-and an effect for reducing volume is excellent.

CONSTITUTION: An empty projection port 24 is formed on an upper part of a cylindrical body 22, and an empty bag push-out port 28 is formed on an end of the body 22. A movable end plate 30 which draws a recovery bag 14 to put it on an outer periphery of the body 22 including the empty bag push-out port 28 and also receives a bottom of the recovery bag 14 is placed. The movable end plate 30 is freely movable lengthwise along the body 22, and also transfer resistance is applied to the movable end plate 30 by a rockup cylinder as a load means when a compression piston 26 is reciprocating.
