Abstract:
PURPOSE: To separate a load mass from a drive motor, when a reaction torque exceeds a predetermined level by interleaving a clutch/attenuator for absorbing temporary reaction torque which exceeds a predetermined motor torque limit. CONSTITUTION: A spur gear 42 is coupled to a shaft 40, directly coupled to a drive motor and engaged with a spur gear 44 coupled to an output shaft 46. A frictional plate 52 is brought into pressure contact with the gear 44 by a spring 58. Frictional surfaces 50, 54 are also formed between the plates 52, the gear 44 and a disc-like member 48. A spur gear 52 of the shaft 46 is coupled to a load. When a reaction torque exceeding setting of a clutch is exhibited due to vibration of a load mass, the shaft 46 rotates with respect to the gear 44, and reaction energy is dissipated as frictional energies of the surfaces 50 and 54.
