Abstract:

PURPOSE: To always hold the residual chlorine concn. at an objective point to the optimum state.
CONSTITUTION: Respective data of a pipe net model, estimated demand quantity, result demand quantity, an objective density time series value, a temporarily set injection ratio and injection ratio upper and lower limit values are inputted to an operator 1 and the residual chlorine concn. distribution in the pipe net in such a case that a chlorine injection ratio is set to a temporarily set injection rate by dynamic water quality analyzing operation using the pipe net model and the estimated/result demand quantity is calculated. Subsequently, the change of the residual chlorine concn. distribution in the pipe net in such a case that the chlorine injection ratio is increased by unit quantity at every unit time by the dynamic water quality analyzing operation using the pipe net model and the estimated/demand quantity is repeatedly calculated. From the obtained relation of the chlorine injection rate and residual chlorine concn. distribution, an injection ratio schedule setting the residual chlorine concn. at the objective point on the pipe net to a value near to an objective concn. time series value is calculated to be sent to an injection ratio controller 5 to control the injection ratio of chlorine.
