PURPOSE: To provide a device for controlling cross talk sound which makes operation of an adaptive filter sure using a delay unit, compensates a transfer function by a filter circuit, and attenuates a cross talk sound from near position at one's ear.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an adaptive filter 2a, a Filtered- xFIR filter 3a and a delay unit 5a which appropriately control a signal from a sound source 1a, an adaptive filter 2b, a Filtered-xFIR filter 3b and a delay device 5b which appropriately control signal from a sound source 1b, filter circuit 6a, 6b which processes output signals from adaptive filters 2a, 2b respectively, an adder 7a adding an output of the delay unit 5a and an output of a switch circuit 11d, an adder 7b which adds an output of the delay unit 5b and an output of a switch circuit 11c, loudspeaker 8a reproducing an output of the adder 7a, a loudspeaker 8b reproducing an output of the adder 7b, microphones 9a, 9b which are mounted near the loudspeaker 8a, 8b respectively.
