Abstract:

To provide a device for controlling an electric power steering device that simply reduces a torque level difference of a brushless motor that has Hall sensors and is driven by rectangular waves.

In the device for controlling the electric power steering device that is configured to give assist power by the brushless motor to a steering system of a vehicle, a torque level difference compensating means is provided that outputs a compensation value that reduces the torque level difference of the brushless motor based on the timing of an output signal of a rotation angle detecting means of the brushless motor.
