PURPOSE: To obtain a mixer which is sensitive to the fluctuation of pressure and a flow rate request and reduces the cost for manufacture and operation by detecting pressure supplying a first ingredient to the mixer and controlling pressure supplying a second ingredient according to this detection signal so as to adjust each ingredient in a high ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A high volume ingredient consisting of resin including supercritical fluid and a low volume ingredient consisting of a catalyst are mixed as an dilution agent to produce coating material. Resin from a resin source 18 advances to the mixer 14 through a resin supply pipeline 24 and a catalyst source 38 sends the catalyst to a differential pressure regulator 40 through a pipeline 39 under pressure. This regulator 40 is connected with a diaphragm seal 44 connected with the pipe line 24 through a transferring line 42. Then the regulator 40 discharges the catalyst by pressure in proportion to resin pressure, e.g. but higher than this pressure by about 100 to 300psi (7 to 21kg/cm2) to a catalyst supply pipeline 50. The relative rate, namely the ratio, between resin pressure and catalyst pressure is set within the regulator 40.
