PURPOSE: To apply a uniform aluminum coating by setting plural rotary brushes having rotary shaft in the vertical direction to rolling axis in the roll width direction in a roll coating device for aluminum hot rolling mill.
CONSTITUTION: Plural rotary brushes 5 having the rotary shaft 4 orthogonally crossed to the rotating axis 2 of the rolling roll 1, are set in the width direction of the rolling roll 1 to abut on surface of the rolling roll 1. The rotary brush 5 is rotated with a motor 6 and the pushing force to the rolling roll 1 is adjusted with expansion/contraction of a hydraulic cylinder 12 through a link 7 and supporting body 9, and by working a hydraulic cylinder 16, all of the rotary brushes 5 execute rotation and reciprocating movement in the width direction. By this method, the uniform aluminum coating in the width direction without any brushing stripes in the peripheral direction can be executed.
