Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for high-temp. steel sheet capable of preventing the occurrence of C-shaped warp and effecting dewatering the steel sheet without causing any uneven cooling.
SOLUTION: The gap between an upper restricting roll 2 and a lower restricting roll 3 is set to the thickness or below of a steel sheet 1, when the steel sheet 1 is passed through the gap, the upper restricting roll 2 is lifted up against the pressing force of a hydraulic cylinder 6, the pressing force is applied to the steel sheet 1 by the reaction force, and the steel sheet 1 is restricted. The center line of the upper restricting roll 2 is displaced by Δx=100 mm to the pass line down stream side from the center line of the lower restricting roll and arranged. Thus, since the steel sheet 1 is passed through between the restricting rolls 2, 3 while being bent up and down, the rigidity is increased and the occurrence of C-shaped warp in the width direction is suppressed.
