A defect signal correction device comprises: a lowpass filter 3 for restricting the frequency band of an output signal of a DDS circuit 2 below a prescribed band; an AD converter 4 for converting a signal outputted from the lowpass filter 3 into a digital signal; an AD converter 6 for converting an output signal of the DDS circuit 2 into a digital signal; a defect correction data generating circuit 7 for generating correction data corresponding to a defective pixel on the basis of a signal outputted from the AD converter 6; and a switching circuit 8 for switching and outputting outputs of the AD converter 4, the AD converter 6 and the defect correction data generating circuit 7. The switching circuit 8 is controlled so as to respectively switch a signal corresponding to the defective pixel among the output signals of the AD converter 4 and a signal corresponding to pixels located around the defective pixel to signals outputted from the defect correction data generating circuit 7 and the AD converter 6.
