Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device that can utilize a feature that an outboard internal combustion engine has a long voyage possible time and a feature that an outboard electric motor is free from a problem of an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: The coupling device 10 for coupling the outboard internal combustion engine 1A with the outboard electric motor 1B includes: a first drive power transmission device 21A for transmitting drive power from a power unit 3A of the outboard internal combustion engine 1A to a propulsion part 5A; a second drive power transmission device 21B for transmitting drive power from a power unit 3B of the outboard electric motor 1B to a propulsion part 5B; and control means 303 for controlling transmission and cutoff of drive power via first to fifth clutch means CL1 to CL5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
