Abstract:
To provide a smaller reactor with better performance as well as improved vibration resistance of the reactor body.
The reactor body 1 comprises an inlet 2 for introducing reformed gas, catalyst layers 3 for converting CO in reformed gas into CO2, and an outlet 4 for emitting the reformed gas in which the CO is decreased. It has means 6 and 7 for adjusting the temperature of the reactor body 1. At least a portion of catalyst support in the catalyst layers 3 is formed of porous body 8 made from both or either of ceramic or metal.
