Abstract:
PURPOSE:To appropriately run a moving vehicle along a preset running route by reading the displaying information of reference members from images picked up from the advancing direction side and discriminating the deviated amount of the vehicle from the preset running route on the basis of the information. CONSTITUTION:The displaying information of reference members installed to specific locations along the preset running route of a moving vehicle A on the advancing direction side of the vehicle A is read by means of an image pickup means Ca which picks up the images from the advancing direction side. Then the deviated amount of the vehicle A from the preset running route is discriminated on the basis of the read information. Therefore, the deviated amount at a location where the vehicle A largely deviates from one of the reference members 4 can be discriminated in advance and the running state of the vehicle A can be modified so that the vehicle A can return to the preset route.
