Abstract:
To secure the safety of a system being operated and also the safety of persons including an operator, by detecting drowsiness of the operator without interrupting operations.
A device for detecting drowsiness is provided which detects drowsiness by measuring the temperature of the hands using an equipment being operated, such as a mouse, a keyboard, a handle or the like. When drowsiness of an operator is detected, the equipment and data files being operated are locked or saved or a vehicle being operated is guided to a safer place and is stopped so as to protect a system including the operator. By doing so, the safety of the system and the person involved in the system is secured and accidents are prevented beforehand.
