Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device for detecting end breakage of a yarn-knitted and braided hose, capable of preventing badness of a product such as end breakage and sagging of yarn by detecting the badness before it happens during knitting and braiding yarn.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical detecting member 11 equipped with plural needle- like protrusions 12 at given intervals in the circumferential direction toward the supply side of reinforcing yarn 3 is slidable and detachably applied to a main body 1 of a hose in the vicinity of a yarn knitting and braiding position. The cylindrical detecting member 11 is divided into two in the longer direction, its one side is connected operably and closable through a connecting member 13 and the other side is openable and closable through a laminar coupling member 14 made of a magnet. The laminar coupling member 14 is vertically hung from the under surface of the detecting member 11 and is brought into contact with a detecting element 7 of a limit switch 6.
