Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect magnetizable substances of a structure by constituting a magnetic field sensor of field plates, mutually connecting the field plates by differential connection, and disposing them in parallel with the pole face of one of a magnets.
CONSTITUTION: For instance, a device for detecting magnetizable substances 5, 6 of a building 4 is provided with permanent magnets 28 for guiding a magnetic field to the building 4 and a scanning head 1 having two field plates 30, 31 disposed in parallel with only the pole face of one of the permanent magnets 28. The field plates 30, 31 are mutually connected by differential connection, and the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 28 obstructed by the magnetizable substance is measured. Difference measuring values given from the field plate pair at respective positions are submitted to formation of a difference measuring signal, and the positions of the magnetizable substances 5, 6 of the building 4 are specified from the difference measuring signals after differential. The positions of the magnetizable substances 5, 6 in the inside of the building 4 are shown on the monitor 7 of an evaluation unit 3.
