Title:
DEVICE FOR DETECTING THREE-DIMENSIONAL COORDINATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5914077
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect three-dimensional coordinates with simple operation such as the depression of a television screen through a finger at the position of an object by using a circuit constitution combining two television cameras, two two- dimensional coordinate detectors and an output circuit.

CONSTITUTION: A transparent two-dimensional coordinate detecting device is arranged on the front of a screen to reproduce the video of an object picked up by two television cameras for detecting (X, Z) and (Y, Z) coordinates, and respective plane coordinates are detected by depressing the screen with a finger or the like. A microprocessor 21 having an A/D conversion function fetches analog voltage signals of the plane coordinates (X, Z1) and (Y, Z2) obtained by the two-dimensional coordinate detecting circuit from interfaces 22, 23 respectively to convert them into digital plane coordinates (X, Z1) and (Y, Z2). A data processing circuit 24 operates and outputs three-dimensional coordinates (X, Y, Z) on the basis of the coordinate data (X, Y, Z1, Z2).
