Abstract:
PURPOSE:To exactly decide a fault in respective flow meter, by adding a data collection part, for arithmetic parts, an identification part, and a display part on a targeted device. CONSTITUTION:In a flow meter fault diagnosing device used in a control system device for a liquid vessel 1, fluid is poured into the vessel 1 through an inflow pipe 3, and a flow rate is measured, and also, the liquid in the vessel 1 is flowed out from an outflow pipe 9 to the outside. Also, the height of a level in the vessel 1 is measured with a level meter 2, and an operating signal to a flow rate control valve 4 is outputted via a level controller 6. And the data collection part 10 inputs the output of the level meter 2, that of an inflow flow meter 7, the set value 5 of the level controller 6, and the output of an outflow flow meter 8, and distributes the inputs to a first - a fourth arithmetic parts 11-14. Furthermore, the identification part 15 inputs the outputs of the arithmetic parts 11-14, and identifies the abnormality of the inflow flow meter 7, and outputs two state signals for the generation of the fault and normal status, and the fact of the generation of the fault is displayed with a lamp, etc., on the display part 16 by the input.
