Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, which is constituted to display and output the displacement of the piston of a fluid pressure cylinder by continuously converting the displacement into electrical signals via a sliding inductor incorporated in the cylinder in a state, where the inductor is fixed in the piston in an integral structure and to obtain linear outputs having such magnitudes that the outputs do not require amplification so as to control the piston.
SOLUTION: This device for displaying and outputting piston displacement of fluid pressure cylinder comprises a cylinder 56, which has a piston rod 60, a piston 51, etc., and gives prescribed displacement to the rod 50 by introducing a pressure medium, a sliding inductor 10 which is fixed in the piston 51 in the integral structure, and a protective pipe 11 on the external surface of which the inductor 10 is slid and which physically isolated its inside from the outside. The device also comprises an inductor reactor 15, containing an AC exciting coil 12 which is fixed firmly in the pipe 11 and an output terminal 13 and the power source circuit 20 of the reactor 15.
