PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of an electric motor and the other electric devices by arranging the electric motor and the other electric devices on a ladle supporting frame apart from a ladle and driving a rotary nozzle through a connecting part, reduction gear, etc., with this output.
CONSTITUTION: Rotating of the electric motor 20 is transmitted to a movable set through a ladle supporting side driving shaft 34, ladle supporting side connecting part 36, ladle side connecting part 32, ladle side driving shaft 31, reduction gear and a rotor in the rotary nozzle. On the other hand, since a second driving shaft 34b is freely tiltable while using a pin as a supporting point and supported with a connecting part driving device 38 freely ascendable/ descendable at the top part, the shock at the time of laying a ladle 41 is relaxed. By this constitution, a driving source part of the electric motor and a coupler for electricity at the ladle side are unnecessary, and the electric motor 20 is difficult to affect by radiant heat from molten metal and the service life of the electric motor and the other electric devices can be prolonged.
