Abstract:

To prevent breaking of a sheet caused by reversion of a rolled stock by adding a current reference value which is converged to zero at a prescribed timewise change rate to current controllers for mill driving motors during stopping a rolling line.

A difference ΔV between an actual speed VFB measured with a speed detector 2 and a speed reference value Vref calculated with a speed reference arithmetic unit 1 is inputted to a speed controlling means 4. A current reference value Iref1 which makes the difference ΔV zero is calculated with the speed controlling means 4, the current reference value Iref1 is added to the current controller through a normally closed switch 7a and reference output switch 5. When a rolling mill is stopped, the current reference value Iref2 with which is made zero at the prescribed timewise change rate from the current reference value Iref1 is outputted with the current reference controlling means 6. The current reference value Iref2 is added to the current controller through the normally opened switch 7c and switch 5. In this way, since the current reference value Iref2 is not suddenly varried, the rolled stock is not reversed at the time of stopping a rolling line.
