To provide a method and device for facilitating a decrease in the acoustic action of a combustor.
A combustion system includes a pilot swirler 210 and a main swirler 230 coupled to the pilot swirler to substantially circumscribe the pilot swirler. The main swirler includes a first set of swirler vanes 240 inducing swirling to fuel supplied to a first fuel circuit, each swirler vane including a first fuel passage 242; a second set of swirler vanes inducing swirling to fuel supplied to a second fuel circuit formed in the main swirler, each swirler vane including a second fuel passage 248; and a shroud 260 coupled in flow communication with at least one of the first set of swirler vanes and the second set of swirler vanes, and including a third fuel passage 262.
